Instagram is changing it's algorithm. Sounds fancy.  But, how are these changes going to affect what you see?

UPDATE: According to FADER, a rep from Instagram confirms:

The testing of new features has only been rolled out to a “super small” number of users so far, they said. (For users who are experiencing the test version, there is currently no option to switch back to the old view.) As the rep explained, the testing that Instagram is currently carrying out is not content specific. That means it’s not meant to clear any types of posts away from your feeds.

Normally, when you scroll through your Instagram feed you see photo's posted chronologically, but with this new algorithm Instagram will show you posts it thinks you want to see. Pretty awesome, right?

If there are certain celebs or friends you love stalking on Instagram make sure you "turn on notifications" so their posts pop up on your feed more frequently.

You know those little dots across from people's username? Usually when you click on them it gives you options to "Share to Facebook" or "Report" and now it gives you the option to "Turn On Post Notifications". Yeah, so if you don't want to miss any of Justin Bieber's naked bum or your bestie's photos from brunch, make sure you turn on their post notifications.
