Chick-fil-A Offering Free Ice Cream In Select Locations, Not In Lafayette

CNBC is reporting that 150 Chick-fil-A stores are offering FREE ice cream to your family. There's one catch, you have to put your cell phone away while eating in the restaurant.

One each table in the select restaurants, there is a box in the middle of the table. Those who wish to take part in the promotion must put their phone away for the entire time they're at the table.

The purpose of the promotion is to have people enjoy "family time" while at the table. Something that seems to have evaporated from homes these days.

I called three Chick-fil-A restaurants in Lafayette today and none of the stores are currently running this promotion. However, all three locations did say that they would look into it.

Would you take part in this promotion in Lafayette if its offered? I KNOW that I would gladly place my phone in a box while eating if it meant getting free ice cream from     Chick-fil-A.
