We've all been eying the serious construction going on at the corner of Johnston & Camellia (and no I don't mean the new lane system that still has some folks confused). I'm talking about that long building that looks kinda like a car wash/drive in diner hybrid.

Well, at least the car wash part is right. It's actually more than just a car wash, as you will see in the videos below. It's an "auto spa." When you think of the word spa, you think of being pampered and that is exactly what Classic Auto Spa is all about.

Yesterday while heading back to the station after stopping by to welcome the Lafayette Little League home after their Little League World Series run, Chris Reed and I decided to bust a U-Turn on Johnston and see if we could be nosy and get a little glimpse of what was going on at the corner of Johnston & Camellia and we ended up getting a whole lot more!

From the largest mirror that I've ever seen in Lafayette and plush indoor/outdoor waiting areas, to the 160 foot tunnel made of windows to offset any feelings of claustrophobia, the small details in this place is pretty impressive.

Thanks to co-owner Derek Veverica for letting us loose inside his multi-million dollar auto spa.
