Chris Reed’s Son Asks ‘What Is This’ When He Finds Disposable Camera

Kids these days will never know. Mason found this "antique device" in the house Sunday night and he had a few questions about this disposable camera.

One, he wanted to know, "What Is This?" Like most kids these days, Mason has never really seen or used one of these type cameras. The only device he's ever used to take photos with is the cell phone.

Then, he wanted to know, "Can you record a video with this?" No, unfortunately you can't. This outdated device does not allow you to take videos and it's a bit more complicated than that.

Mason also wanted to know where the photos are on here. He did not understand why you couldn't preview photos on this camera.

Then came the difficult explanation that you have to return the camera in order to get the photos. He was blown away. Wait, no instant gratification here? Nope!

Keep in mind, this is the same kid that asked me where the apps are on a rotary phone. That was another challenging explanation for me.

Kids these days may never know the struggle. And that's okay with me.
