Nope, it's not the start of a joke. This is a real thing, and it's already gotten over a million views since it was uploaded to Sheeran's YouTube page yesterday.

Sheeran has a new album coming out July 12, and this track called Blow is the last track on the album. It features a super 70's style song with each artist taking a turn at a verse. According to a few articles, Stapleton and Mars aren't the only cross-genre stars on the album. He has Eminem, Cardi B, Skrillex, Kelsea Ballerini, Darius Rucker, and even Kenny Chesney making appearances on this new album.

I really want to make the joke that perhaps Sheeran couldn't do this album on his own, but I really have an appreciation that he has so many different artists involved. Perhaps people listening to "Baby Stapes" will discover Country music or people listening to Skrillex might discover EDM. Either way, the new mashup of talent with Stapleton, Sheeran, and Mars is really in your face and pretty dang good!
