Today Acadiana locals will be collecting supplies for Lake Charles families in need following the devastation left behind after Catagory 4 Hurricane Laura ravaged Southwest Louisiana earlier this week. All items collected today will immediately be taken to Lake Charles families in need.

Items will be collected at Planet Ice Skating and Hockey Arena located at 4317 Johnston Street in Lafayette between 10 am and 11:30 am today (Sunday, August 30, 2020).

Items needed are:

  • Water
  • Granola Bars
  • Bread
  • Peanut Butter
  • Cleaning Supplies
  • Tarps
  • Fuel Cans
  • Ice Chests/Ice
  • 2 Stroke Oil
  • Carbon Monoxide Monitors

Anything that will bring comfort to the families hit hard by Hurricane Laura in and around the Lake Charles area will be taken. Gift Cards of all types will also be accepted.
