Comedian Loni Love has become a household name and can be seen daily on The Real (airing at 12p weekdays on KATC DT-2). But her journey has been all about learning about herself. Her new book, I Tried to Change So You Don't Have To, explores her many failures and how they paved the way for her current television and comedy success. As the cover of the book depicts, she tried to be a lot of different people along the way, but eventually found that being herself was the key to her happiness.

She joined Rob Kirkpatrick and Bernadette Lee on KPEL's Acadiana's Morning News. You can listen to the full interview below.

The book, I Tried to Change Myself So You Don't Have To, went on sale this week and is available now on Amazon and other book stores. She hopes it will guide women to a place where they can appreciate themselves and even capitalize on it.
