My first question after watching the above Hard Hat Challenge video compilation is why? Why did this become a thing?

I mean, yeah, if you successfully flip a hard hat onto your head you like a complete boss. Unfortunately, for the majority of dudes who failed and were decked in the face with a hard hat, it looks painful.

But. hey, keep flipping those hard hats, guys! You're providing the internet with a reason to put off sending that pointless work email and enjoy the little things in life, like watching grown men get hit in the face with safety gear.
