Cop Pulls Woman Over, Saves Her Life Using The Heimlich Maneuver [VIDEO]

A police officer in Kalamazoo, Michigan named Jason Gates pulled a woman over for running a red light, but what he did not know was that this traffic stop would save the life of the woman behind the wheel.

The woman driving the van was choking on a hotdog and as Officer Gates approached the car he could see that that woman was in distress.

After asking the woman a few times if she was "OK," he demanded that the woman get out of the vehicle and that's when he performed the Heimlich Maneuver on the woman.

After a few thrusts to the woman's abdomen, the lodged hot dog popped out of the woman's mouth. Overwhelmed, she immediately hugged the officer until she sat down to catch her breath.

If you're wondering, NO she did not get a ticket for running a red light.
