Super heroes really do exist. They come in all different sizes and different backgrounds, and from different parts of the world. You never know who they are till they save you from danger.

The following is a video of real-life superheros. These superheroes are police officers from New York, South Bronx, and what they did was amazing.

In true super hero fashion, the officers lifted a four-door sedan several times so emergency workers could pull free a pinned, unnamed victim, who was lying underneath the wheels.

ABC7 reports the accident happened just before 3:00 a.m. Sunday. Police say a 19-year-old man suddenly ran into the street right in the path of yellow cab near the intersection of East 138th Street and Brown Place in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx. The man taking the video overheard all of the commotion from his 3rd floor apartment, and peeked his head out of the window. He says the whole scene played out in less than 60 seconds.

The victim's name has not been released. He's in critical condition at Lincoln Hospital. No charges are expected in the case.
