Is this the year of the 'Dad Bod?" and what is the "Dad Bod?"

Have you been seeing the hashtag #TheDadBod going around lately? The Dad Bod is taking over the internet. It all started from Clemson University's The Odyssey, where author Mackenzie Pearson asked the question, "Why do girls love the dad bod?"

Person describes the "Dad Bod" as a body type that proves that skipping the gym for a few brews is an acceptable practice. While other web sites like THE CUT describe it as a physique characterized by undefined muscles beneath a light layer of flab, topped off with a beer belly. Basically average body types.
