Dallas Police Officer Consoled At Hospital [PHOTO]

While officers with the Dallas Police Department were being treated at a hospital after being shot Thursday night, several of their colleagues broke down once the situation was under control.

One particular photo that stands out amongst the rest is this photo. A Dallas Police Officer is being consoled by someone and there is no black or white issue here.

This is America. This is people/friends hurting because loved ones were murdered. If this photo isn't a candidate for "Photo of The Year," then I don't know what is.

I think this photo should also remind us that those that serve and protect are people too. They hurt just as we do.

Sure, there may be bad cops out there, but for every bad cop out there, there are cops like this man in the photo above.

What a strong statement here.
