Chris Reed And Digital Surprise Students At Delta College With Pizza & T-Shirts

The guys from the Morning Buzz decided to drop in on the students at Delta College with quite the surprise.

We love the students at Delta College, so while they were working hard we decided to give them a little break with pizza from Deano's and a few of our Hot 107 Days of Summer t-shirts—custom printed with their Delta College logo!

The pizza was great, but the best part of our visit wasn't us stuffing our faces with the great students at Delta College. What was amazing was seeing how excited the students were to be in class.

While most college students groan and moan their way through class, these students had their eyes on the prize and knew that in a few short months their lives would be changing for the better. One by one, we visited classes ranging from Medical and Dental Assistant training to Medical Office-Billing and Coding (one of the hottest classes currently at Delta College and one of the most in-demand careers out there right now).

Most of these students will be in a new healthcare career in less than a year, and what's amazing is that most of them will find work before they finish school, all thanks to Delta College and their commitment to career placement. Training includes ‘externships’ which allow you to spend 240 hours of real-time work in a hospital, doctors or dentist office or other healthcare facilities to get hands-on experience before you look for a job

That's the Delta College difference. They don't just offer the classes, they are with you every step of the way and for most of the students, it was awesome to hear them describe how Delta College worked with their schedules that involved kids, jobs, and family. (Because life, right?)

Plus, they've got financial aid options for those who qualify, and unlike some places, Veterans benefits ARE accepted at Delta College.
