Destrehan Teacher Avoids Prison And Sex-Offender Registry [VIDEO]

A Destrehan High School teacher accused of having sex with teen has agreed to a plea deal.

This must have been the deal of the century. The New Orleans Advocate reports Shelley Dufresne pleaded guilty to one felony count of obscenity.

Dufresne received a $1,000 fine and will avoid a three-year prison sentence and will not have to register as a sex offender on the condition that she goes to a 90-day mental health treatment facility.
