Did Bobby Knight Almost Punch ESPN’s Dick Vitale? [VIDEO]

This was awkward?

Legendary college basketball coach Bobby Knight returned to Indiana Basketball over the weekend and he looked very fragile.

While surrounded by some of his former players he was greeted by his good friend Dick Vitale, who works for ESPN, and things got really awkward.

As Coach Knight approached his friend, who was calling the game on television, Dick Vitale grabbed Bobby Knight and that's when the former coach reacted. You can see Knight pull away from the ESPN commentator and then he raises his hand like he's about to unleash on his old friend.

Some on social media have suggested that Coach Knight was just playing up this tough-guy image, while other's say that this could be a result of a medical condition Coach Knight may be battling.

In any case, I thought that this was an awkward exchange and I hope the two were able to hug this out.
