Fans are just a few weeks away from getting to feast their eyes on the Bad Boy documentary Can't Stop Won't Stop: A Bad Boy Story, and the anticipation is only getting stronger. Diddy recently stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! this week (June 5) where he promoted the upcoming documentary and spoke on a slew of different topics, including the East Coast vs. West Coast rap war from the 1990s.

In the documentary, we see Diddy and his team go through the intense trials and tribulations of the beef, which resulted in the tragic deaths of Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G. We also see how Puff Daddy and Bad Boy Records were able to keep striving for success and get back on top following the aftermath of the war.

During their interview on the talk show, Kimmel brings up how the Bad Boy Reunion Tour reached Los Angeles last year, where Puff brought out both Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre as special guests—a gesture which would have been "unthinkable" back in the days of the war.

"You gotta understand that was one of the biggest things to happen in our culture. Right now, we're living in the results of the hip-hop culture. So, as crazy as it sounds, there was an East/West war over music, and people were killing and getting killed. We deal with that in the movie, and it was something that was just so surreal and so serious, and so unfortunate and so sad, but that's something that we've had to deal with," Diddy told the host.

"It's not like that. We were all scared," Puff continued. "Sometimes things in your life could just get out of control, but we never wanted to have problems with each other. We were all fans of each other. And it was just something in that day and age that spun out of control. We've all been friends ever since. Snoop Dogg is one of my best friends. Dre is one of my best friends. It always should have been like that, but sometimes in life, there's tragedies so people can learn from them. This is God's world, but the greatest thing is that he put us all back together."

Kimmel and Diddy also showed a clip from the documentary, which shows how Puff conducts his business and planned his reunion tour from last year.

"My life has been something, I think, [that] can inspire dreamers. And I've always been a dreamer. And I've always just wanted to be at a certain level of excellence. So that's what that's about when I put my shows together," Diddy told the audience following the clip.

Can't Stop Won't Stop: A Bad Boy Story airs exclusively on Apple Music on June 25.
