DMX is currently in prison for tax evasion but that hasn't stopped him from handling business.

The Blast reports that although he's locked up for a year, X is focused on new music and is also vetting book and movie deals, according to his attorney Murray Richman.

"[DMX] looks great, is very happy, and overall, is doing remarkably well," Richman said.

DMX will reportedly be serving his sentence at FCI Danbury so that he could be closer to home and also take advantage of the treatment programs offered, due to his long battle with drug use. He's currently being held at Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York while he awaits transfer.

X's prison schedule reportedly consists of a 6 a.m. wake up call, and then reporting to his job, "which usually starts with a food service, unit orderly or maintenance shop position," according to The Blast.

In addition to serving time, X is required to pay $2.3 million in his tax evasion case, a debt he can pay off in monthly installments once he's released from prison.

Additionally, the judge ordered the rapper to participate in an outpatient substance abuse program and an outpatient mental health program. The judge also added three years of supervised release once X is out of prison.
