After reports surfaced yesterday that he could go back to prison, it looks like DMX caught a break from a judge, as he has been sentenced to house arrest. According to TMZ, the "X Gon' Give It To Ya" rapper reportedly showed up 30 minutes late to his bail bond hearing, and failed four drug tests, but the judge decided to show some mercy.

The outlet says that X reportedly failed four drug tests after testing positive for both marijuana and cocaine, and also violated his bail conditions of his tax evasion case by traveling to St. Louis without the court's permission to take care of a family matter.

Although the judge was not pleased with him and had the ability to put DMX back in jail, they decided to put him on house arrest, as he will have to wear an ankle monitor for the rest of his case. TMZ says that he won't even be able to so much as go outside to mow his own lawn under the conditions.

If you recall, the veteran MC is facing 14 counts of evading more than $1 million in federal taxes. He pled not guilty back in July after being freed on $500,000 bail following his one night in jail.

We will keep you updated on DMX's case as it moves forward. For now, fans hope he can adhere to the conditions of his house arrest to stay out of jail.
