Sammie and Simon met at a veterinary clinic after coming from two similar situations of abusive homes.

Sammie is a four-month-old puppy that was severely abused, spray-painted, and even shot by his previous owner. Simon is a one-year-old pup that is still recovering from a similar situation.

When the two met at a vet clinic in South Carolina, Simon immediately went over to Sammie and put his paw on the table over Sammie's.

Simon has been by Sammie's side throughout his recovery process.
