Dr. Dre Issues Statement Following Brain Aneurysm

The fact that Dr. Dre has issued a statement a day after suffering a brain aneurysm is nothing short of a miracle.

This evening, the world was hit with a shock as one of the true legends of hip-hop and music in general was hospitalized after suffering a brain aneurysm. TMZ reported the news first late this afternoon, soon after, Dr. Dre was on the hearts and minds of millions of fans all over the world.

According to TMZ, Dre was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Monday, almost immediately after suffering the extreme health event. He was placed in ICU and remains there at this time.

The early reports stated that Dr. Dre was both lucid and stable while in ICU, and was being kept in the hospital to run through more tests. That alone was wonderful news, considering how extreme brain aneurysms are.

Late Tuesday, after the news broke, Dr. Dre took to Instagram to share an update on his health. I have to say, this statement absolutely made me smile from ear to ear.

In his statement, he says, "I'm doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team."

This man just suffered a BRAIN ANEURYSM yesterday. This is wonderful news and we certainly wish Dre a continued quick recovery.
