Drake Fans Frustrated After New Orleans, LA Concert Postponed for Second Time
Ticketmaster sent a notice on Tuesday, September 5th to ticket holders for Drake's 'It's All a Blur' tour stop in New Orleans, Louisiana that it has been postponed. The concert was scheduled for September 20th at the Smoothie King Center but now it has been postponed "indefinitely".
Due to the magnitude of the production of the Drake concert, it is logistically impossible to bring the full experience of the show to New Orleans,
the date scheduled for Wednesday Sept. 20 is postponed. Live Nation, in conjunction with Drake Management, are working to find a new date for the fans in New Orleans.
The notice from Ticketmaster goes on to say that "fans are encouraged to hold onto their tickets until a new date is announced". However, it's hard to believe that many will since this is the second time the show date has been postponed. Drake was initially scheduled to kick off his tour in New Orleans with 21 Savage on June 16th. However, the tour started two weeks later than originally planned with 54 dates across the United States and Canada.
Several other tour dates were postponed and new tour stops have also been added. It's rumored that the date has been moved to November 24th after a Google Listing was shared but Ticketmaster and LiveNation have not confirmed this date.
