The annual SXSW music, film and interactive festival closed out on a high note with a surprise concert set from Drake and his artists on the OVO Sound label.

The event took place at the Fader Fort event in Austin, Texas, on Saturday night (March 19). Drizzy and his crew performed after Yo Gotti’s headlining performanca. During the Toronto rapper’s performance he asked the crowd “Are you ready?" before he rips into a fiery rendition of “Energy.”

According to Billboard, Drake also performed a selection of songs including “Know Yourself,” “Big Rings” and his Meek Mill diss song “Back to Back.” Probably the highlight of the set was when Drake brought out Metro Boomin’ while he performed the Future-assisted track, “Jumpman.”

Prior to Drake’s performance, artists on the OVO Sound label had a chance to show off their musical talents. Newly-signed OVO artist DVSN hit the stage first followed by crooner Roy Wood$ and then production duo Majid Jordan. Finally, singer-songwriter PARTYNEXTDOOR performed for the crowd and delivered his mixtape hits like "Welcome to the Party, "Break for Toronto" and “Recognize.”

Following his performance, PND released a new song called “Come and See Me,” which features his OVO Sound boss Drake.

In the end, Drake and his OVO crew are gearing up to take over the rap and R&B game in the upcoming months.
