Driver Gets Extremely (And Dangerously) Close to Tornado

A tornado is one of the most unforgiving weather events. If you don't think so, just watch this.

This man was driving in a car in Rochelle, Ill., last week when he saw a tornado in the distance. He's initially unsure what direction the tornado is coming, but it's clearly lurking in the not-too-distant horizon.

Soon enough, the tornado heads his way and the man sits in his vehicle, embracing the danger. "The truck feels like it's about to lift up off the ground," the man says. Not only can you see the intensity of the moment, but you can also feel it -- the violent shaking is crazy, kind of like a possessed person who's trying to rid his body of evil spirits.

This footage captured just one of the many tornadoes that tore through the Midwest this past weekend, killing two people in Fairdale, Ill.
