The Bayou Teche Museum will be hosting the Loup Garou Moonlight 5K Race on Friday, March 13th in Downtown New Iberia starting at 7pm.
The run is in honor of George Rodrigue's 71st birthday. The race/walk will begin and end at the Steamboat Warehouse Pavilion on Fulton Street. Registration includes a Loup Garou (Cajun Warewolf) t-shirt and admission to the George Rodrigue exhibit at the Bayou Teche Museum.
Age Groups: 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & older.
Prizes: 5K run 1st, 2nd and 3rd medals in each age group & male and female overall trophies; 1 Mile 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals male and female.
The race will conclude with jambalaya and drinks.
All proceeds benefit the Bayou Teche Museum and honor George Rodrigue on his birthday.
