Family Places Sod From LSU’s Tiger Stadium At Gravesite [PHOTO]

A family recently had sod from LSU's Tiger Stadium placed at the gravesite of a loved one.

According to Cat Glueck's Facebook post, the sod was placed at her father's gravesite after LSU allowed fans to score a piece sod from the playing field.

The field at Tiger Stadium is being replaced as the university updates the drainage in the stadium.

In the social media post that has since gone viral, it is noted that Mr Gregory Glueck, who is deceased, was a huge LSU Tiger fan. So, when the opportunity came for his family to give him a piece of LSU history, they did.

With the help from some at the cemetery, the sod at Mr Glueck's gravesite now includes grass from Tiger Stadium. Here are some of the photos.
