Big Sean got his Petty Roosevelt on over the weekend when news broke that his ex-girlfriend, Naya Rivera, was arrested for domestic battery in Chesapeake, West Virginia.

According to TMZ, the former Glee star was walking with her husband, Ryan Dorsey, and their two-year-old son, when she allegedly punched him in the head and his bottom lip. Dorsey called police and Rivera was subsequently arrested on Saturday night (Nov. 25). Apparently, Dorsey also recorded the entire incident as well.

Rivera appeared before the judge early Sunday morning (Nov. 26) and was released on $1,000 bond. Her father-in-law reportedly picked her up from jail.

When news broke of Rivera’s arrest, Big Sean reportedly posted a video of a young child repeatedly saying, “I told ya n----s...y’all thought I was playing.”

Fans caught wind of the video and poked fun at the Detroit rapper for his pettiness. Folks also cited his chart-topping hit, “IDFWU,” where Sean hinted why he broke up with Rivera.

"Big Sean told us Naya Rivera was fuckin crazy.....he really wasn’t lyin....," wrote one person on Twitter.

However, many criticized Big Sean for being petty and making fun of domestic abuse, which is really not a laughing matter.

"I ain’t gone make jokes about the Big Sean and Naya Rivera situation cause if the roles were reversed, y’all would be cancelling the nigga. Abuse is abuse," one person tweeted.

Another fan commented, "Big Sean need to mind his business and go back to living his life."
