It's been five years since we got a Drake and J. Cole collab. Could a new one be in the works? Fans definitely think so after the two rappers were posted up on social media together in Los Angeles.

The video, posted on Saturday night (Dec. 29), shows both rappers sitting in Jermaine's car, which is apparently a Rolls Royce Phantom.

"Who would have thunk it, huh?" Drake says in the clip. "In the ghosty, no casper, you hear me? Out here."

Aubrey and Jermaine cooling out together has one thing on people's minds: new music is afoot. The video had the internet going nuts with speculation that the two A-list rappers would be cooking up some brand new work.

"Drake [and] J Cole linked up in LA... 2019 music bout to be fire," one Twitter user commented.

"Seeing Drake & J. cole together makes me happy, hope they give us more Jodeci freestyle and in the morning type music," another person added.

Fans are bubbling with anticipation. "Drake and J.Cole been chillin, if they drop some fire I’ll die," someone else noted.

Cole and Drake last linked up in 2013 on the song "Jodeci Freestyle." Prior to that they linked up on "In the Morning" off Cole's debut album Cole World: The Sideline Story.
