A farmer in California has figured out a way to grow pumpkins in a mold that makes them look like the monster Frankenstein.

The pumpkins are tall, narrow, and have the monster face molded right into them.  They're sold out on his website but grocery stores are importing them . . . and they'll sell for at least $100 each. Yeah, $100 each!!!

This modern-day pumpkin didn't happen over night. It took the harvester five years and over $500,000 to get them right. Sounds like a lot of wasted pumpkins. They are sold out on his website, but you may still stumble across some of these stylish pumpkins in grocery stores all over the world.

Although these pumpkins are really cool to look at, and you don't have to mess with carving them, would you really spend $100 on a pumpkin?
