According to reports, Duson Police are responding to a vehicle crash that involves a school bus. Duson Police Chief, Kip Judice, has confirmed that the bus struck a passenger vehicle and that five people have been transported to a local hospital, including two children.

We got word directly from Chief Judice confirming reports.

Chief Judice told us that two children from the passenger vehicle were injured in the accident and they were transported to a local hospital by Acadian Ambulance. The two adults that were in the passenger vehicle were also transported to the hospital by Acadian Ambulance.

The bus driver was the only person aboard the school bus. They have been transported to a local hospital by ambulance as well.

The accident occurred at the corner of S. Richfield and Anderson.
