I didn't get bills in the mail till I was at least 18-years-old. This kid has me beat by at least 13 years. WOW!

Five-year-old Alex Nash received a birthday invitation. He sent back his RSVP saying that he would attend.

His parents realized they made other plans for that day and couldn't attend the party. They wanted to contact the parents of the party, but there wasn't a contact number to cancel the RSVP.

The next week, Alex's parents received a bill for not attending the party. The invoice had a $24 fee on it called, "child's party no show fee."

The birthday party's mother has threatened to take them to small claims court. No word form the birthday party's mother.

Question: Should Alex's parents have to pay because he didn't show up? Is this being blown way out of proportion? Comment below.
