Franklin Parish High School Football Player Dies After Being Injured On Punt Return

Franklin Parish High School sophomore football player Tyrell Cameron died Friday night after he was reportedly injured on a punt return.

According to USA Today, Cameron was carted off the field on a stretcher in the fourth quarter and taken to an emergency room. According to Winnsboro police, the high school football player has been pronounced dead.

The opposing team, Sterlington, also tweeted out their support to Franklin Parish.
