As our LSU Tigers (#1) are preparing for the College Football Playoff National Championship game against Clemson (#3) Monday in New Orleans, it's exciting to know that our Tigers will basically be playing a home game. And this Friday, January 10th, fans will get a chance to view the National Championship trophy up close and personal, at a free event.

The Historic New Orleans Collection, which is located at 520 Royal Street in the French Quarter, is hosting a 'complimentary viewing party' from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm to see the beautiful 24-karat gold trophy ahead of the game at the Superdome on Monday, January 13th. You can take photos of the trophy, which is on display in conjunction with the Crescent City Sport: Stories of Courage and Change exhibit, which runs through March 8th

Fans will also be able to view the original Sugar Bowl trophy, and the original Tiffany-designed Vince Lombardi Trophy awarded to the Saints from their win at Super Bowl XLIV in February 2010. Find out more details about the event here. Geaux Tigers!
