This Sunday both before and after the Sonic Christmas parade, you and your family came drop by 700 Jefferson Street to take a picture with Santa for a donation to the Family Violence Intervention Program.

They will also have hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks for sale.  They will begin the event at 11 a.m., and wrap up at around 4 that afternoon.

The Family Violence Intervention Program is a six month program order for domestic violence abusers to attend that they have to pay for.

While the offender pays for the program, funds are needed for the facilitors, rent and other office expenses.

Ralph Peters, Executive Director of FVIP, says this is the organization's main fundraiser for the year.
