The LSU Tigers will play at least their first two games of the 2018 college football season under the lights, before playing their SEC opener in the afternoon.

In a network release, ESPN announced on Thursday that LSU's September 8 home contest against the Southeastern Louisiana Lions will kickoff at 6 o'clock, and will air on either ESPN2 or ESPNU.

That means the Tigers now know the start times for their first three games of the upcoming season, and what networks will air the contests.

LSU will open up their 2018 campaign against the Miami Hurricanes on September 2, with a kickoff time set for 6:30 pm. That game will be played inside the Dallas Cowboys' home stadium in Arlington, Texas, and will air on ABC.

Following their match-up against Southeastern Louisiana, the Tigers open up SEC play on the road against the Auburn Tigers at 2:30 pm, in a game that will be televised on CBS.

Kickoff times for most of the other games likely won't be determined until within two weeks of the respective match-ups.
