Last night, Geri Horner—a.k.a. Ginger Spice—apologized for leaving the Spice Girls in 1998.

During the final date of the band’s reunion tour at London’s Wembley Stadium, the singer took a moment to address the 90, 000 fans in the crowd to get something off her chest. While embracing her bandmates Mel B, Mel C and Emma Bunton, she finally offered everyone an apology for her abrupt exit over 20 years ago.

At the time, Horner revealed she left the group because she was suffering from exhaustion and needed a break. However, in the 2007 documentary Giving You Everything, she said she felt like she "didn’t belong anymore."

Now, Horner had admitted she left the Spice Girls because she was "just being a brat."

“I need to say something I should have said a long time ago,” she told the audience. “I’m sorry. I’m sorry I left. I was just being a brat. It is so good to be back with the girls that I love.”
