Normally, NFL preseason football is nothing to get excited about. If you're lucky you may catch your team's starting players for a handful of snaps at their respective positions, and then it's three and a half quarters of backups and other unfamiliar players fighting for a spot on the final roster. But this year things are VERY different, being that we almost didn't have any football at all.

I've personally never seen and or felt excitement over a preseason game like I have so far as we head into a 2011 NFL season that almost didn't exist. My excitement is largely credited to the fact that after YEARS of sitting on a lengthy waiting list, I finally have season tickets to watch the Saints play at home in the dome.

Not only will I be watching the Black & Gold in the dome, but I'll be doing it in brand new seats due to recent renovations inside and outside of the Louisiana Superdome. The 'Who Dat Nation' will get their first look at the renovations as the Saints take on the 49ers this Friday in the first game in the "new dome." Check out this sneak peek courtesy of WWLTV!
