This may make a lot of people start playing video games again.

There are a few games that don't have much room to be argued as near perfect. Super Mario Bros. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Grand Theft Auto V, and the Nintendo 64 classic GoldenEye 007.

GoldenEye 007 was praised for its four player multiplayer mayhem. The solo campaign was nothing to scoff at, either. It was a genre-defining first person shooter.

That game was originally made by video game developing company Rare.

That being said, a 3D artist by the name of Ben Colclough has undertaken the task of rebuilding the entire campaign in Unreal Engine 4, applying shiny new HD visuals and enhanced textures and effects while preserving the map layout, gameplay, and general essence of the original game.

Even ex-Rare developer David Doak, who took to Twitter to call Colclough's work "Kyrgyzstantastic!"

The game is planned to be released in August of 2020 for free on PC in time for the 25th anniversary of GoldenEye 007, aptly titled GoldenEye 25.

Now, let's hope that Colclough doesn't get hit with a cease-and-desist order from the original game makers, and that he is able to keep up his task to release the game on time.
