Governor Postpones Tour Stops to Prepare for Severe Weather

The remainder of Gov. Edwards statewide tour is being rescheduled for a later date. Gov. Edwards is returning to Baton Rouge this evening where he’ll conduct a Unified Command Group meeting with emergency response officials as the state continues to prepare for the threat of severe weather.

Edwards was scheduled to be in Alexandria, Shreveport and Monroe this week to continue his bus caravan across the state in his re-election bid. Edwards was scheduled to be on KEEL Thursday morning in the 7am hour, but that in-studio visit will be re-scheduled.
