Jimmy The Groundhog Bites Mayor’s Ear [VIDEO]

A mayor in Wisconsin found out the hard way that you should NEVER let a groundhog too close to your ear, even on Groundhog Day!!!

The critter bit the mayor of Sun Prairie during the annual Groundhog Day celebration during which we let the groundhog tell us how much longer we will have to deal with winter. Once its handlers put it too close to the mayor, he took a bite out of the mayor.

As you can see here, the mayor was a bit startled and even misinterpreted that winter would be sticking around for an additional six weeks.

Lesson here, never get too close to a critter, even on a day when you're celebrating its existence.
