Gypsy Rose Filed a Restraining Order Against Her Ex-Husband in Louisiana
Louisiana native Gypsy Rose Blanchard has been making big moves since she was released three months ago from the Chillicothe Correctional Center in Missouri. From makeovers to a recent divorce announcement, Gypsy has been finding her own way.
"People have been asking what is going on in my life. Unfortunately, my husband and I are going through a separation and I moved in with my parents' home down the bayou. I have the support of my family and friends to help guide me through this. I am learning to listen to my heart. Right now I need time to let myself find… who I am."
Two weeks after making this public statement to People about their separation she has now filed for a a temporary restraining order against Ryan Anderson. The couple were married while Gypsy was still in prison back in 2022. After being released early they made several public appearances and have interviewed together depicting what we all thought was a happy couple.
With the divorce papers officially filed earlier this week and now with a restraining order being filed today in Lafourche, Louisiana, it is clear that the once happy couple has grown apart. Ryan thanks everyone for "their support and nice messages" in a TikTok video. He goes on to say that they have been filming a lot for their Lifetime series and that "y'all will see what actually happened on Lifetime" and to stay tuned for more details.
The filing has been sent to the assigned Judge for review and to schedule any hearing dates if necessary
It is never easy to navigate huge relationship changes like a breakup or a divorce, let alone under the scrutiny of the public eye. We hope that during this time of transition for Gypsy that she can find comfort amongst her Louisiana family.
