The 2019 Oakland Raiders are filled with player personalities, player stories, and player drama, making them a perfect choice for HBO's award winning documentary series Hard Knocks.

Next year, the team will be in Las Vegas, but the pending move didn't stop HBO from selecting the Raiders.

"We are trying to worry about this team, this week," head coach Jon Gruden said today. "We've got a lot of adversity we're facing right now with this team. We got a lot of distractions. I think we are playing in three countries. We've got about two months without a home game. We are in a process of moving. And we are going to try like crazy to keep all of our best players as we head to Las Vegas."

Training camp will be noteworthy, and cameras will be there to document it all.

Hard Knocks, which debuted in 2001, follows a team from the start of training camp to the end of the preseason when the team cuts their roster down to the mandated 53.

This year's premiere date is August 6th.
