Hear Ronald Reagan’s Veterans Day Message
This is Veterans Day. We pause to remember all veterans who have served our country. It's a federal holiday and that means no postal service today. Some banks will also be closed to mark the holiday.
Here are President Ronald Reagan's remarks from 1985 to honor veterans.
Veterans Day was previously know as Armistice day marking the end of WWI, but that changed to Veterans Day in 1954.
Veterans Day is different from Memorial Day which is when we remember those who have died in service to the country.
