After rumors began floating around that Joe Budden wouldn't be returning to popular hip-hop talk show, Everyday Struggle, including a series of tweets from Budden himself alluding to internal confusion, Complex has now said that the outspoken rapper officially won't be coming back.

"Joe Budden is not continuing as a host on Everyday Struggle in 2018," Complex told Billboard. "The show will be back in the New Year with all new episodes and guests. We wish Joe all the best and thank him for a great 2017."

The show featured DJ Akademiks, Nadeska Alexis, and Joe Budden discussing hot topics in hip-hop, with Joey often playing the role of contrarian older statesman. His views were widely debated and recently, Migos and Lil Yachty even dropped a video, "Ice Tray," mocking their infamous interactions with him on the show. But Complex says they simply couldn't reach an agreement with the rapper.

"We love and respect him; we believe he's terrific but the reality is we couldn't reach an agreement," Complex said.

As of yet, Complex hasn't announced a replacement for Budden. The plan is to release new episodes with special guest features for now.

Meanwhile, in a series of tweets prior to the official announcement of his departure, Budden said he created the show, and he'll create another if need be.

"I created that show… I’ll create another if need be… & another & another….. it’s when u CANT create that you move WITHOUT integrity...."

"I am not on paternity & they should stop using my 3 day old child to mask internal chaos, thx," he replied to DJ Whoo Kid, who recently appeared on the show.
