Hot 107.9 Birthday Bash Returns To The CAJUNDOME With Kevin Gates
We've been waiting a long time to say this: Hot 107.9 Birthday Bash is officially BACK.
And since we're celebrating Birthday Bash 23, the Jordan year, there was no way we were bringing it back small.
Hot 107.9 is taking over the CAJUNDOME on Friday, October 16, with Kevin Gates headlining a massive night of hip-hop featuring legends, some of the hottest names in the South, and plenty of Louisiana flavor.
This is the return of one of the biggest events in Hot 107.9 history, and we wanted year 23 to feel like it.

Kevin Gates Headlines Birthday Bash 23 At The CAJUNDOME
Kevin Gates will headline Birthday Bash 23, but the lineup doesn't stop there. Joining him at the CAJUNDOME will be legendary Bun B of UGK, New Orleans rising star Rob49, H-Town legend Slim Thug, Louisiana hitmaker Mouse On Tha Track, the club banger king Level, and Carencro's own Wochee.
There is plenty of history packed into this lineup, especially for longtime Hot 107.9 listeners.
Bun B's appearance marks what will be his first Lafayette performance in nearly 30 years.
Rob49 has emerged as one of the hottest artists coming out of New Orleans.
Slim Thug brings a catalog of Houston classics that helped define an entire era of Southern hip-hop.
Closer to home, Mouse On Tha Track has been responsible for some of Louisiana's biggest club records, while Level helped provide the soundtrack to countless nights across Acadiana and the state.
And of course, we had to make sure home was represented with Carencro's own Wochee.

Birthday Bash has always been about more than just the artists on stage. It has been part of Hot 107.9's history, and for year 23 we're bringing part of that history back with us.
One of the original Hot 107.9 personalities, DJ Sexy Lex of Trill FM, will return to host Birthday Bash 23.
For listeners who have been rocking with Hot 107.9 since day one, having Sexy Lex back alongside this lineup makes the return of Birthday Bash feel even more like a reunion.
Hot 107.9 Birthday Bash 23 Ticket Information
Keeping Birthday Bash affordable was extremely important to us when we started putting this show together. We've teamed up with Live Nation and the CAJUNDOME to make sure fans can see this entire lineup without arena-show prices getting out of control.
We're talking about no ticket above $100! In fact, fans will have the opportunity to get two tickets for well under $100 before fees.
The artist presale begins July 29 at 10 a.m., followed by the venue presale on July 30 at 10 a.m. Tickets officially go on sale to the public July 31 at 10 a.m.
With a lineup this big and ticket prices designed to stay affordable, we definitely recommend grabbing yours early.
