ILoveMakonnen and Fall Out Boy come together to honor the late Lil Peep in their video for "I've Been Waiting."

The video, which was directed by Andrew Donoho and SUS BOY, debuted on Peep's YouTube channel earlier today (April 10). In the visuals, ILoveMakonnen begins by reciting his verse while playing from a white piano. He rocks a medieval ensemble as the Atlanta-based rapper hops on a hot-air balloon to link up with Fall Out Boy, who also come through in outfits that look like they came straight out of Game of Thrones.

“Peep wanted this video to bring people up into the clouds, into the fantastical world of his mind. Making it now, alongside Makonnen, is our way of visiting him again,” SUS BOY says in a statement included with the video.

The collaboration is considered a dream come true for the late rapper. Back in 2017, Lil Peep revealed that both ILoveMakonnen and Fall Out Boy were artists he grew up listening to during an interview with XXL for The Break.

“One of my favorite hip-hop artists is Makonnen," Peep shared. "One of my favorite bands is Fall Out Boy. You put those two together and that’s Lil Peep.”

According to Makonnen, who spoke with XXL about the making of "I've Been Waiting," Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz reached out to Makonnen and sent his condolences after Peep's death. During their exchange, Mak told Wentz that his rock band had a major influence on Peep and that it would be “an honor if we could all get on a track together.” The song is said to be appearing on Peep and Makonnen's joint album, which is supposed to drop later this year.
