Coyote Spotted Running Through Louisiana Cemetery
(KTDY) - Wild animals are on the move these days, and one man saw coyotes in a Louisiana cemetery.
In recent years, we've reported on several sightings of animals, llike bears and coyotes, showing up in places where they haven't been seen before, and now we can add a cemetery to the list of places these wild animals are found.
Enrico Bruno, who appears to be knowledgeable about cemeteries in New Orleans, recently posted a video on social media that shows a coyote running through a graveyard in Metairie, Louisiana.
Loved ones often frequent cemeteries throughout the year, and this is especially true as we approach the holiday season. We always remind you to be aware of your surroundings when visiting a cemetery.
Although this video may have been filmed in Metairie, many of the cemeteries in Acadiana are located in rural areas, where wild animals do run rampant; therefore, you need to be cautious while visiting loved ones who have passed away.
Why Wild Animals Are Moving Closer to Civilization
We are seeing more wild animals in areas where they haven't been seen in years due to development. Much of their habitat is being destroyed, thus the animals are on the move.
Another reason why you may be seeing more wild animals in urban areas is that their food sources have moved, too, and wild animals are seeking new food sources.
Here's a look at the coyote in the cemetery in Louisiana. Does this make the grounds a bit more spooky? We will let you decide.
