Louisiana Police Agency to Be Featured on The Hit Show ‘Cops ‘

Growing up one of my favorite television shows was "Cops" and the production team will be back with the Lafayette Police Department soon.

Watching Cops as a kid on television was a Saturday night ritual for many of us, and let's be honest, we often waited for a local police agency to be on the show and now LPD will once again be featured on the show.

Cops now airs on Fox Nation, but the structure of the hit show has not changed. Procucction crews still ride along with officers and document arrests and other calls agencies respond to.

If you recall, there was a moment when the cameras were rolling while with the LPD last time when a naked man had to be tased in an apartment complex in Lafayette. What will happen this time?

Well, we are going to have to wait and see. Cops announced on social media that they will re-join LPD on Friday, September 27th.

Of course, we will be watching and looking for places and faces we may recognize on the show.
