Louisiana Police Seen Running Towards Truck That Drove Down Bourbon Street
A group of police officers on Bourbon Street in New Orleans responded to the deadly incident on New Year's Eve and their response was all caught on camera.
If you've ever been to Bourbon Street in recent years you probably noticed an increase in the police presence and often you'll see a group of police officers together at various street corners.
One group of officers was staged at an intersection along Bourbon Street on New Year's Eve when a terrorist in a truck ran over and killed 15 people. Dozens more were injured in the tragic incident, including two officers.
Well, as soon as the chaos ensued just after 3 am on New Year's Eve the officers at one intersection took off running towards the incident, while so many ran away from the danger.
We often hear about officers and firefighters running towards danger, while many run away, but rarely do we witness it. Video surveillance captured the moment the officers responded to the deadly scene and as you'll see below, they did not hesitate for one second.
