A police officer in Louisiana caught some very interesting throws from floats in a St. Patrick's Day parade.

The Slidell Police Department posted a social media video showing an officer catching throws from floats. Yes, he caught beads and a few other normal throws from floats, but there were some rather unique throws from the floats in the parade they were working.

While officers were stationed along the parade route, they decided to have some fun, and they too raised their hands in hopes of catching a few throws, and they did. However, they caught a few throws that they probably did not expect.

Watch as one officer with the Slidell P.D. catches fruit and vegetables from those on floats. Not only was he and his colleagues entertained and shocked by some throws, the officer who caught some of the random throws even elected to share them with some working alongside him.

Now, in some parades, odd or random throws are expected, but I can't recall ever seeing fruit and vegetables thrown from floats. I think it's hilarious that someone would walk into a grocery store and look at a sack of potatoes and say that's what I am throwing from the float this year.

Check out the fun this officer and his colleagues had at a recent St. Patrick's Day parade and be sure to check out the hands-on this police officer.

As mentioned in their social media post, this officer may want to consider a career change and pursue a career in the NFL with these types of skills.
