Louisiana Sports Fans Love Weatherman’s Trolling of The Atlanta Falcons During Hurricane Coverage

Hurricane Milton made landfall in Florida on Wednesday evening and many in Louisiana were locked into the coverage on the Weather Channel.

While watching the coverage of Milton making landfall, Meteorologist Paul Goodloe on the Weather Channel warned citizens in Florida to not let their guard down as conditions improved and he used a great sports analogy.

If you follow football, you already know the story of the Atlanta Falcons blowing a 28-3 to the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl, and that is what the meteorologist references while addressing the "calm in the storm."

While conditions at one point seemed to improve as Milton moved through parts of Florida, the reporter here told citizens in Florida to not celebrate too soon because the second half of the storm was to come, like the second half in the Super Bowl when the Falcons blew the lead.

As you may imagine, some New Orleans fans loved this analogy, while others questioned why this meteorologist would go there.
